Greg Uphoff, CPA

Greg Uphoff, CPA, finds satisfaction in collaboration. He brings more than 30 years of collaboration and leadership to Abdo, where he’ll continue to look for ways to help his clients improve and add value to their businesses.

Greg’s consulting practice includes valuations and litigation support, and a focus in the construction and real estate industries. He’s a member of many associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, where he has served on various committees, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. He also represents the firm in the National Home Builders Association and the Minnesota Utility Contractors Association.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys golfing, traveling, and cheering on Minnesota’s professional sports teams. He grew up next door to the baseball field in his small hometown of Melrose, MN, and if he hadn’t chosen accounting as his profession, he’d be an assistant baseball coach for a local college team.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My Grandfather who was an entrepreneur for his time.

What’s your favorite part about being an accountant?
The ability to work with such a diverse group of people on matters that are very important to them and their families.
