Doug loves efficiencies (ask him about Tesla vehicles and energy products), and he enjoys helping his clients with their business efficiencies. For the past 20 years, Doug’s business acumen and forward-thinking approach has helped firms and individuals with a wide range of accounting, consulting, and tax matters. He also advises businesses on purchases, sales and strategic planning.

Doug is married, has two adult children and lives in Independence, Minnesota. Along with Tesla gatherings, he spends his free time boating, canoeing, fishing, and inline skating.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to inline skate competitively and take canoeing and fishing trips

What was your first job growing up?

I was a paperboy for the St. Paul Dispatch and Pioneer Press. It taught me responsibility and the business aspects of sales and collection.

Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?

My parents – they lived through the Great Depression and taught us to appreciate everything we had.
