He joined Abdo in 2015 after working at a small firm in Austin, TX. Darin is a member of industry organizations and sits on the board of the Twin Cities’ chapter of Precision Metalforming Association.

What would you do if you weren’t an accountant?
It would be fun to be a blacksmith and make something with my hands and tools.
What was your first job growing up?
My first real job was an usher at a movie theater where I would clean the lobby and theaters after movies ended.
What’s your favorite part about being an accountant?
I enjoy the variety of issues that come up and the different ways in which I can help clients. It’s a much more diverse field than most people realize, and it makes coming to work everyday fun and challenging.
This is my wife and I (pre-beard!) at Hobbiton in New Zealand where they filmed the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy.
