New Service-Group Offering

EDINA, MN | June 3, 2020 – To address client needs within an increasingly data-driven business landscape, Abdo, Eick & Meyers, a nationally recognized accounting firm, announces the launch of a new service group: Technology and Data Solutions.
The following five services will be offered under the Technology and Data Solutions umbrella: Strategic Data Analytics, Financial and Management Reporting, Automation Solutions, Software Evaluation and Selection, and Software Implementation. Geniene Scherer, CPA, senior manager at Abdo, Eick & Meyers, will serve as the Technology and Data Solutions leader.
Given her diverse background in technology solutions, Scherer is particularly excited about the new service group. “Having real-time access to accurate data has become critical to the clients we serve,” she explained. “We’re leveraging a powerful mix of tools to give public and private organizational leaders the data they need when, how, and where they need it. With our capabilities in data analytics, we’re able to go from ‘descriptive analytics,’ which reports on what happened, to ‘prescriptive analytics,’ which uses forecasted data to recommend actions. The latter is critical to assisting clients with strategic decisions.”
