Francis and Associates: A Valued Partner in Listening

Several exciting things have happened during Abdo, Eick & Meyers’ 50th anniversary year, one of which has been the welcoming aboard of Francis and Associates. Here’s what we heard about the coming together of these two organizations:

Minnetonka-based Francis and Associates, PA, has provided accounting and financial services to closely held corporations and shareholders for more than 30 years. The firm is known for its unwavering commitment to client satisfaction and ability to “look beyond traditional accounting.”

When Managing Director Rick Francis decided it was time to find a new home for his firm, he knew it would have to be one in which he and his team could build upon their long-standing commitment.

“Client service always been an integral part of our culture,” says Rick. “Which, in a nutshell, is why AEM fit us so well.”

For Rick, the real test came when the two firms began to talk about joining forces. “I really appreciated AEM’s openness and willingness to discuss our concerns,” he says. “That kind of approach felt really comfortable to me—and it showed that they really do listen.”

Francis and Associates will officially join Abdo, Eick & Meyers on November 1. Rick, along with his two younger partners, Steve Toelle and Steve Anseth, will office in Abdo, Eick & Meyers’ Edina location.
