DFK INTERNATIONAL/USA: EXPANDING OPPORTUNITY

September 11, 2013

We’ve been a member of DFK International/USA since 2011. Here’s what we’ve heard about the organization and how it helps our clients…

Once upon a time, there was an accounting firm called Abdo, Eick & Meyers. The firm grew and grew, and so did its clients. Some were expanding, some were looking at new markets, and some were considering growth overseas. Abdo, Eick & Meyers wanted to help them succeed.

That’s when they decided to join DFK International/USA. DFK is an association of more than 200 independent accounting firms. This is their mission:

“DFK/USA facilitates the interchange of ideas, knowledge and information in an effort to provide the highest level of professional services to clients through a national and global association of independent public accounting firms.”

Simply put, DFK acts as a forum in which these firms can work together to exchange technical expertise and best practices. (Because 200 heads are better than one, right?)

DFK gives Abdo, Eick & Meyers the resources it needs to help clients navigate any situation—at home or abroad. So, if Abdo, Eick & Meyers doesn’t have the resources a client needs in-house, they can turn to DFK. The firm also attends DFK conferences and serves on several committees.

“Simply put, our involvement in DFK enables us to provide a very high level of service—and expertise—to our clients,” says Don Kreye, Abdo, Eick & Meyers’ business development manager and chair of the DFK/USA marketing committee.

“It’s how we can be there for our clients as they grow.”
