Abdo’s Jana Cinnamon Named Chair of CPA Firm Management Association

EDINA, MN – Dec. 27, 2023 – Abdo is pleased to announce that its Chief Operating Officer and Partner, Jana Cinnamon, has been named Chair of the CPA Firm Management Association (CPAFMA), effective January 1, 2024.

In this role, Jana will guide the national organization that supports leaders in CPA firm operations. CPAFMA was established 40 years ago with the mission to facilitate communication among accounting firm managers and to leverage collective experiences in the evolving profession. Jana served as the organization’s Vice Chair in 2023.

At her 11 years at Abdo, Jana has been instrumental in managing key operational areas and demonstrating a comprehensive approach to leadership. Her strategic insight and dedication to maintaining a positive culture have significantly contributed to the firm’s overall growth and success. Jana holds a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in Human Resources and Industrial Relations. She became the firm’s first non-CPA partner in 2022.
