Our Story

Abdo first opened its doors in 1963 in Mankato, Minnesota. Founder Joe Abdo was able to establish the firm thanks to a $15,000 loan from his hardworking, Lebanese-immigrant mother. As the firm has grown, our commitment to our clients, people, and core values have remained a guiding light for our firm’s vision and strategic goals.

Today, Abdo is ranked as a Top 25 Accounting Firm by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, is named as a Regional Leader in the accounting industry by Accounting Today, and has been recognized by Inside Public Accounting as one of the top 200 largest accounting firms in the nation.
