Victoria Holthaus, CPA

Victoria (Vicki) is a lifelong learner who also has a gift for teaching and lighting the way ahead for others. Soon after earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, she began teaching classes at a local business college. Now, as a partner at AEM Financial Solutions, LLC, Vicki aims to simplify complex issues for her clients. Her goal is to give them a solid understanding of their finances, empowering them so they can confidently plan ahead.

Vicki specializes in working with local governments and nonprofit agencies to strategize capital improvements, develop long-range financial plans, and troubleshoot accounting and financial challenges. She also provides process evaluation and process improvement services for nonprofit and private sector clients. Over the past several years, Vicki has helped many organizations with strategic upgrades to technology and software as they navigate new ways of interacting with constituents and customers.

Along with the ability to creatively explain technical terms, Vicki has firsthand knowledge of the issues local governments often face. Prior to joining the firm, she served Minnesota municipalities and joint ventures in various finance and administrative roles.

Vicki holds the MSRB Municipal Advisor Qualified Representation (Series 50) designation and is a member of the Hamline School of Business Accounting Board.

Most lifelong learners are naturally curious, and Vicki is no exception. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new cities, cultures, and foods.

What would you be doing if you weren’t an accountant?

A travel writer.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In the summer, I enjoy a bike ride on the Minnesota trails or time on the lake. During our cold winters, I get outside and stay active doing downhill or cross country skiing. I also like to bake and read.

Helping clients find solutions to challenging problems and charting a path forward.
