Leading Government Audit and Financial Reporting Expert Joins Abdo

Edina, Minn. – December 18, 2025 – Abdo LLP, a leading full-service accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Miranda Wendlandt, a seasoned audit and financial reporting professional, has joined the firm as a partner. With 18 years of experience serving local government entities, Miranda brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will greatly benefit Abdo’s clients. 

Miranda’s extensive background encompasses governmental audit management, regulatory compliance, financial analysis, and client advisory services. Her technical expertise is deeply rooted in a thorough understanding of GAAP, GASB standards, internal control frameworks, and the Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG). She excels in designing and performing federal compliance audits, interpreting UGG requirements, and assisting clients in enhancing their grant management processes.

A graduate of Bemidji State University, Miranda is a licensed CPA in Minnesota and Arizona, and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Before joining Abdo, she worked as a principal in the government department of a major professional services firm.  

Miranda lives in Alexandria, Minn., with her husband and their three children.
