Abdo announces expansion to Utah

Building on the success of its westward expansion into Scottsdale, Arizona, in 2022, Abdo is advancing its growth plans by entering the Utah market, capitalizing on similar opportunities in the Salt Lake City area. “Utah’s thriving business environment, combined with its talented workforce, aligns with Abdo’s growth strategy,” said Abdo Managing Partner Steve McDonald. “We see a strong demand for our services and are confident in our ability to establish a significant presence.”   

Founded in Mankato, Minnesota, in 1963, Abdo has steadily grown with offices in Mankato, Minneapolis, and Scottsdale, Arizona. The new office in Salt Lake City will allow Abdo to tap into the state’s dynamic business landscape, enhancing business development and networking opportunities. Leading the new Salt Lake City office is Abdo Senior Manager John Juntunen, a full-time business tax accountant with Abdo since 2018, who focuses on helping business owners achieve their objectives. Juntunen relocated to Utah to spearhead the firm’s business development efforts.
